Diễn tả một hành động, sự việc ban đầu trong vượt khứ và còn liên tiếp ở tương lai.VD: I have learnt English for 5 years. (Tôi đang học tiếng Anh được 5 năm)
Diễn tả một hành động, vụ việc đã xảy ra nhiều lần trong vượt khứ.
VD: I have seen this film 3 three times. (Tôi đã xem phim này 3 lần rồi)
Diễn tả một ghê nghiệm cho tới thời điểm hiện tại.VD: I have never been khổng lồ Korea. (Tôi trước đó chưa từng tới Hàn Quốc)
Diễn tả một hành động, sự việc vừa new xảy ra.VD: We have just arrived. (Chúng tôi vừa mang đến xong)
Diễn tả một hành vi không biết rõ thời hạn xảy ra.VD: Someone has taken my seat. (Ai này đã chiếm địa điểm của tôi)

Để phân biệt động từ đề xuất chia sinh sống thì lúc này hoàn thành, chúng ta nên chú ý những từ bỏ sau có trong câu:
